PAUL ROBERTS: The French ImpressionistsPaul Roberts

Debussy's Six Epigraphs Antiques with readings from the poems by Pierre Louys on which they are based. Also pieces by Ravel including Jeux d'eau and Liszt's Les Jeux d'eaux à la Villa d'Este. Paul Roberts is renowned as one of the world’s great interpreters of French Impressionist Music, as player, lecturer and author.

2pm ABIGAIL BAKER: Chopin recital

First & Third Ballades, Nocturnes, Polonaise & Barcarolle
Abi Baker was the recipient of the 2007 Muzio Clementi Award at Finchcocks She has won many prizes as a pianist, taken part in the BBC Musician of Year Competition, and specialises in period keyboard instruments at the Royal College of Music. She is also a violinist and teacher. Grand piano by Pleyel, Paris 1842.p>

5pm ANDREW AARONS: Beethoven and the Graf piano

The Canadian born pianist established himself as a concert artist in North America before moving to London for a degree as Master of Music. He recently recorded Beethoven Sonatas on Finchcocks instruments for the new edition of Complete Beethoven Piano Sonatas by ABRSM. Fortepiano by Conrad Graf, Vienna 1826.

8pm DANIEL GRIMWOOD : Liszt recital

All Liszt programme: to include Apparition no.1 in F sharp major and Années de Pèlerinage Book 2. Daniel Grimwood is a distinctive performer with an uncompromising approach to his music making. His commitment to great music regardless of its origin has led him to champion, alongside the standard repertoire, works by many lesser-known composers composers. Grand piano by Erard, London 1866.
