These are available on all Open Days (Sundays, Bank Holiday Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays in August)

Lunches served from 12.30 - 2.30pm; Teas from 2.30 - 5.30pm
They are also available for group visits which do not require a pre-booked lunch

Menus for groups: advance reservations only

Groups which require a lunch with the menu of their choice must order in advance, confirming the menu and final numbers at least seven working days prior to their visit. The group may select two main course dishes from the sample menus. Homemade soup and a freshly baked bread roll or delicious desserts are available as additional courses. We are happy to cater for vegetarians and visitors with special dietary requirements, please advise well in advance.

  • Breast of chicken stuffed with mushrooms, cheese and herbs from the Finchcocks garden
  • Kentish sausages with mashed potatoes and rich onion gravy
  • Finchcocks shepherds pie with home grown garden vegetables
  • Succulent lamb tagine with lemon couscous
  • Sticky glazed belly of pork with Kentish apple sauce and house herbs
  • Tandoori spiced chicken on naan bread with yoghurt and cucumber riata
  • Curried chicken or seafood pancakes topped with yoghurt and coriander
  • Smoked haddock in a creamy spinach sauce served with a pastry cage
  • Chargrilled tuna with tomato salsa
  • Vegetable pasta bake broccoli, peppers and cream cheese gratin (v)
