Finchcocks can be visited without appointment from Easter to the end of September:
The house is open from 2 -6pm. The Garden and Restaurant from 12.30pm
These informal and entertaining afternoons feature demostration-recitals often by leading performers, and in addition present a wide range of guest artists, which can include instrumentalists, singers, young musicians, folk and jazz. There is opportunity for visitors to play the instruments themselves. Click this link for more information about the Open Days.
The Cellar Restaurant is open for cafe style lunches on all Open Days. Reservation is not essential but helpful. Teas are served throughout the afternoon.
Finchcocks welcomes groups from between 20- 60 people by arrangement on most dats except Mondays. These can be in the morning, afternoon or evening. Smaller groups can visit on the Open Days; larger groups need to book by appointment on other days. The visit would usually include a guided tour of the Museum, a demonstration-concert on the instruments and catering in the Cellar Restaurant.
