About The Finchcocks Charity

The Finchcocks Charity Ltd is a UK-based non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of keyboard instruments, particularly the harpsichord, clavichord, and fortepiano. The organization was founded in 2013 by the owners of the historic Finchcocks musical instrument museum, which housed one of the world's most significant collections of historical keyboard instruments.

After the museum's closure in 2015, the organization was restructured as a charity to continue its work in education, conservation, and public engagement, including organizing concerts, workshops, and masterclasses for students, scholars, and music enthusiasts.

The Finchcocks Charity Ltd aims to inspire a new generation of musicians and preserve the artistry and craftsmanship of these exquisite instruments for future generations.
