The Finchcocks Charity

The Finchcocks Charity was founded in 1984 by Richard and Katrina Burnett to support musical and educational activities at Finchcocks Musical Museum. Its aim was, and still is, to champion the study and musical use of historical keyboard instruments in bringing to life the sound-world of the great baroque, classical and romantic composers, and to help preserve the vital skills and expertise required to restore and maintain them through training and apprenticeship.

Since the closure of Finchcocks Musical Museum in 2015, the Charity supports regular musical and educational events at its new centre in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, where concerts, courses, competitions, recordings and open days are held using keyboard instruments from the Richard Burnett Collection.
